Homoeopathy
Homeopathy was founded by the German physician, Samuel Hahnemann, in the late 18th century and introduced into the UK by Dr Quin in the 1830s. At the turn of this century the House of Lords Select Committee published a report on “Complimentary and Alternative Medicine” citing Homeopathy as one of five alternative therapies that provide an ‘individual diagnostic approach’. There are currently five NHS funded homeopathic hospitals in the UK the largest of which is the Royal London Homoeopathic Hospital, treating thousands of patients per week. Members of the Royal Family are also advocates and recipients of Homeopathic treatment, and have been since its introduction in the 19th century. Ainsworths, the homeopathic pharmacy based in London holds the Royal warrant for Prince Charles and the Queen.
In 1991 the British Medical Journal published an analysis of homoeopathic treatments prescribed over the course of 25 years. In the study of over 100 patients suffering from a range of medical problems from vascular, respiratory, digestive and psychological disorders to allergies, post operative recovery, arthritis and diabetes, their results showed homeopathic treatment produced a positive effect in 77% of cases. They concluded that the evidence was "sufficient for establishing homoeopathy as a regular treatment for certain indications" and stated that “the amount of positive evidence even among the best studies came as a surprise to us." More information on homoeopathy can be found from many more sources on the Internet
As stated previously, QFT is not the traditional homoeopathic approach via consultation and subsequent remedy choice, rather, it is based on cosmology and previous medical history, with the aim to provide preventative/immune support therapy, alongside treatment and help for any current health problems if applicable. It is advisable to consult with your GP and/or medical professional in order to assess your progress which in turn can add to the proficiency of the therapy.
QFT cannot interfere with any medications currently being prescribed as the therapy contains no herbs, mother tinctures, or chemicals whatsoever.
